The place
Today, Vairano is more than just a proving ground — it is a center of excellence at the heart of Italian automotive innovation. Alongside the Quattroruote Test Center and the Safe Driving School, the estate serves as a key reference point for automotive manufacturers, regularly welcomes motorsport teams for test sessions and is a preferred venue for dynamic product launches. With the arrival of the Circolo dell’Automobile, Vairano fully reveals its dual soul: a place where innovation meets tradition, and where automotive excellence is celebrated in all its forms.
Tradition and innovation
Vairano is also a setting steeped in history and character. The Circolo dell’Automobile is housed within a remarkable 50-hectare estate south of Milan. At its heart lies one of the largest courtyards in Lombardy, encircled by 18th-century buildings that once formed the center of a thriving agricultural estate. In the early 1990s, the estate was acquired by Giovanna Mazzocchi Bordone, who undertook a meticulous restoration of its historic architecture. In 1995, the Automotive Safety Centre was inaugurated on the grounds. Today, the estate also hosts an equestrian center, complete with stables and a riding school.
Clubhouse
Set at the center of the courtyard, the Clubhouse is the heart of the Circolo. It’s where members gather — to attend events, meet fellow enthusiasts, or simply enjoy a coffee at the bar while talking about what we all love most: cars. At the reception, the Club Manager arranges exclusive services tailored to members’ needs.
Upon request, the Clubhouse is also available for private events. For more formal occasions, a private dining room offers an intimate setting to enjoy the finest Italian cuisine.
